Our Mission Angel's Wings, Inc. (AWI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to family preservation by providing alternative, residential placement for infants and children who have a parent in prison, fostering mentor relationships with pregnant offenders,and assisting female ex-offenders in the successful re-integration into the community. The period of a parent's incarceration provides an excellent opportunity for positive intervention with families at risk. Mentors for Moms provides supportive, effective, well-trained volunteer mentors to incarcerated mothers. Mentors will be a listening ear to a hushed voice, a gentle guide to assist in life changing decisions and a system of support when setbacks or doubts arise. Volunteer Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: Complete and Submit Application Materials Consent to Criminal History Check Attend Volunteer Training Visit at least once a month Correspond regularly, remembering special occasions (birthdays, holidays, etc.) Provide encouragement and support Angel's Wings Inc. | P.O.
